Synapse OCR

This optional tool uses a custom web service to OCR all your scanned or faxed documents that you have uploaded to Synapse.  The results are placed into Synapse and are available in the OCR tabs found in the Inbox and Results.

This will save you considerable time in writing metadata.

It requires that you first register your IP address and email with us first before this utility can be activated.  The tool can only be used from a single IP address, and should be run on your server. Since it uses a custom web service, you will need internet access at all times the utility is running.

Any images uploaded for OCR are automatically deleted within an hour for privacy and space considerations.
